DESCRIPTION
ADMIX MICRO is supplied as a single part ready to use, non-shrink, free flowing
general purpose repair micro concrete in powder form and only addition of water
required at site. ADMIX MICRO has expansion characteristics in the plastic stage
(0.70 to 0.80%) while minimising water requirement. The low water requirement
ensures high early strength and durability. For larger repairs, 12mm down graded
dry aggregates can be added.
APPLICATION PROCEDURE :-
Defective concrete and debris should be removed. The area of application should
be clean and saturated with water. The corroded reinforcement if any should be
well treated or replaced. Anti corrosive coating should be applied on
reinforcement bars for protection.
On the wet surface a thick coat of ADMIX SB LATEX (polymer modifier & bonding
agent) should be provided as a primer as well as to ensure monolithic bond. Form
work should be leak proof and with sufficient ventilation to prevent air
entrapment.
Mixing of ADMIX MICRO should be done carefully and thoroughly. Where addition of
graded aggregate is required, the same should be added after water and ADMIX
MICRO are properly mixed. The mixed material should be placed immediately. Water
CURING should be done immediately after 2 hours of placing and should continue
for 7 days.
