DESCRIPTION

PRODUCT :- Two part (powder + liquid), pre-packed, acrylic polymer modified (styrene acrylic based) cementitious primer for all water proof applications.

MIXING :- LEAKGUARD PRIMER should preferably be mixed mechanically to ensure uniform mixing for better cohesive consistency. Take out the liquid portion of LEAKGUARD PRIMER to a bucket and add 1.5 to 2 Ltr of clean water to it and mix. Slowly add powder portion while mixing is on. Mix it thoroughly till a homogenous paint consistency is formed. Mixed LEAKGUARD PRIMER should be used/consumed within 10 to 15 minutes. (max).

WATER CURING :- LEAKGUARD PRIMER needs water CURING after 8 hours at 30ºC. Two times water CURING before applying water proof coating, is recommended.

APPLICATION PROCEDURE :-
Surface preparation :
Surface should be cleaned thoroughly by using wire brush and all loose particles, oil stains if any, dust, paint etc., should be removed and cleaned by sufficient quantity of water. Un-plastered, un-even surfaces or any cracks on the surface should be repaired to make it even for better bonding. Surface should be strong & sound.

Application :
The prepared surface should be sufficiently wet and water stagnation if any, should be removed. Then mixed LEAKGUARD PRIMER to be applied uniformly by brush towards one direction maintaining proper hidden properties.

Cement plaster (ADMIX WALL PLAST) is well compatible with LEAKGUARD PRIMER and provides excellent bonding with substrate.

PACKING

LEAKGUARD PRIMER is two components (5 kgs powder & 1 Ltr liquid) packed together in one bag. Total weight per pack is 6 kgs.

USES

For primer coat (base coat), prior to water proof application, on all concrete structures like Roof tops, basements, water tanks, sunken slabs, swimming pools, retaining walls, slope roofs etc. Coating of LEAKGUARD PRIMER prior to any plaster will be an added advantage for water proofing. LEAKGUARD PRIMER can also be used for coatings on asbestos sheets.

Coverage

LEAKGUARD PRIMER gives a coverage of above 200 to 225 sft per pack, single coat. ( 5kgs powder, 1 Ltr liquid chemical & 1.5 to 2 Ltr clean water).

SHELF LIFE

LEAKGUARD PRIMER can be stored in original sealed pack under shade in dry condition for 6 months
