DESCRIPTION

LEAKGUARD-P is a single part, pre-mixed, crystallisation water proof coating in powder form based on processed cement and fillers. LEAKGUARD-P can be brush applied on sound substrates to provide extremely tough and durable waterproof coating which penetrates and fills all micro porosities and capillaries i.e. water proofing by crystallization.

PRODUCT :- Single part, cement based, pre-mixed, crystallisation water proof coating.

MIXING :- LEAKGUARD-P should preferably be mixed mechanically for consistent and uniform coating. However hand mixing is allowed for small quantity. Take 8 to 9 liter of clean water in a bucket and slowly add LEAKGUARD-P powder into it while mixing is on. Keep adding 2 to 3 liter of water based on the mixing progress and requirement to form a paint consistent homogenous mix.

APPLICATION :- The surface should be sound and sufficiently wet. In short, surface should not absorb water content from the applied layer of chemical. Proper hidden properties should be protected while coating LEAKGUARD-P and 1 to 1.5kg material should be used per m² per coat. Application should be done one-by-one vertically and horizontally to ensure sufficient quantity of chemical is available on the surface for crystallization process. Mixed LEAKGUARD-P should not be kept idle for longer time and the same should be used within 15 minutes. Two to three coats are idle. Mixing in small quantity is recommended. 

CURING :- Water CURING should be started after 8 hours (at 30ºC) and to continue for three days.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION :- One extra coat of LEAKGUARD-C is recommended on the junctions and joints especially parapet wall bottom joints on rooftops. Slight water sprinkling on the first coat is recommended before starting second and subsequent coats.

USES

All concrete structures which are required to be water proofed and protected against leakages in basements, water tanks, roof tops, swimming pools, sewage tanks, retaining walls, lift shafts, tunnels etc. Also, recommended for negative water proofing applications.

COVERAGE

One bag (25 kg) of LEAKGUARD-P should be sufficient to cover an area of approximately 150 to 175 sft, two coats.

SHELF LIFE

LEAKGUARD-P has 6 months shelf life from the date of manufacture if stored in original container under shade, unopened.
