DESCRIPTION

PRODUCT :- Two-Part (Powder & liquid), pre packed anti-corrosion protective coating for steel bars. Anticore-R is a thin section coating designed to provide weather resistance to steel and reinforcement. It ensures excellent corrosion resistance to the reinforcement bars.

PRODUCT PROPERTIES :-
Working / Pot life @ 30º C - 30mins
Touch Dry @ 30º C - 3 Hrs (Max.)
COLOUR : Available in red, white and green colours as specified by users.

APPLICATION PROCEDURE :-Steel reinforcement should be cleaned by wire brush. All loose particles should be removed to ensure good bond strength.

PACKING

1 Ltr Liquid + 2 Kgs powder = 1 set.

USAGE

On reinforcement steel. Specially designed for embedded steel in concrete and exposed steel.

MIXING

Anticore-R is a two part product with powder component and respective pre-weighed amount of liquid. Pour the liquid portion into a bucket & add powder slowly and start mixing, both clockwise and anti-clockwise till a homogenous mix is formed.

Mixed Anticore-R can be applied on steel bars either by a brush or waste cloth. Mixed Anticore-R should not be kept idle and intermittent mixing should be done to ensure homogenous & uniform mix throughout.

Mixed Anticore-R should be used & completed as soon as possible as its pot life is 30 minutes @ 30º C. Re-dosing with water is not recommended.

COVERAGE

Coverage is depending upon the application procedure adopted at site. However one set of Anticore-R should be sufficient for coating around 100kg of steel bar of 12mm thickness.
